What is HSMM-MESH?

wireless router
Why Use HSMM-MESH?
• Channel 1 & 2 completely fall within the Amateur
Radio Spectrum
• Everyone is using high-speed data except
Amateur Radio
• One Node + One Program = Available to All Nodes
• Most of the ham band falls within the microwave
frequencies. So we might as well use it.
• Small and Portable
How HSMM-MESH Works?
• Flashing the firmware totally reconfigures the
router and basically turns it into a repeater
with extra functionality
• HSMM-MESH software communicates with all
other nodes it sees
• Each router creates a map of the seen nodes
• They configure themselves to find the fastest
and most direct path from the source to the
user
