 The Roman army conquered 46 countries all across world.
 The Roman army had legionary's and within a legion were 5000
men and they had to be Roman citizens.
 The Roman Generals were hardened soldiers and if you did
not follow there orders you were punished no matter how
small your mistake ! CONTENTS
CLOTHES
>Romans wore tunics and togas.
Women wore longer tunic which were around anklelength.

Only men who were Roman citizens could wear a toga.

• Gladiators fought professionally in the amphitheatres .
• Gladiators fought and were likely to die within ten
minutes
• Gladiators were usually slaves fighting against
hardened criminals or pro fighters

The Romans ate food that they could grow such
as vegetables.
They used cereals they grew to make bread .

Poor people lived in the slums , they lived in tiny
flats usually with four beds and eight people 
The rich people in the Roman empire had a
colossal villa with 10 rooms.
