Explain why Alexander the Great was
important – how did he impact the
world?

Alexander the Great was important because he
conquered the known world, and as he conquered all
those places, he spread Greek culture and ideas to all
the people that lived there. Without him, our world
today would not have come into contact with Greek
culture, and it would look very different.
