Storyline

Suzie Darkbloom is a disturbed patient at Oakwood mental
insinuation that has a mental condition called ‘schizophrenia’ this
condition makes her version of reality extremely distorted and
creates delusions and blank spots in her memory leading her to
forget major events. She wakes up one morning in the mental
institution and is confused as to why she is there. She believes that
she has been wrongly accused of something that has lead her into
the institute. Her memory is revoked when she starts to have dreams
about her family. She remembers glimpses of when she was a kind
and compassionate mother and others when she is brutal and
abusive towards her family. After an intense session with her
physiatrist she is reminded of her dark past and how she brutally
murdered her family in an episode of her personality switch.

We chose this location because we tried to avoid the ‘modern’ look as much as possible and lean to a more traditional and
classic theme. We did this because we thought that this theme would be the best match for the ‘mental institute’ in the storyline.
This hostel stood out to us because of the amount of space provided and the furniture and decoration along with the nature
surrounding the hostel that could come to our advantage.

Target audience

18-28 – Targeting an older audience since the storyline includes
violence and the psychological side to the story requires a more
mature mind-set and will capture the attention of this age group
(not older) mostly due to crime and violence.

Targeting an audience of males as stereotypically they are most
attracted to a storyline involving violence and crime.
