Query Characterstics
•
What are the characteristics that we want to allow in the queries
– Query for individual data elements such as: Patient’s demographics,
Problems, Medications, etc.?
– Query for Problems and Medications? (Across different types of data elements
and combinations of them)
– Dealing with Missing Information in Queries?
– Should there be any Logical Concepts allowed, for e.g AND, OR
– Search Semantics (>, <, >=, <=, Exact Match, Approx. Match, Case Ignore Match)
