Introduction
Tuberculosis is one of the oldest infectious diseases. Are known in details the causes of disease, mode of transmission and
treatment. Although centuries have passed from the discovery of tuberculosis, the disease still exists today.
Materials and methods
Data collection was conducted in a single phase. Was used descriptive method that consisted of collecting data from the
Department of Pulmonary diseases registers in Vlora’s Regional Hospital. Were gathered data on age, sex, occupation,
residence, health education to patients and families to improve health conditions.
Conclusions In 9 cases was done health education on how to maintain control of the disease and prevent its transmission to persons living with them, in 3 cases was continued treatment with medications scheme. There is no information for one patient because he has migrated.

During the year 2014 were 9 patients diagnosed
with TB. Men were 89% and females 11%. 45% of

Recommendation
Improvements should be made to increase the
diagnostic capacity to identify the pulmonary TB in the
early stages.
Should be done continuously education of medical
staff for the newest prophylactic methods.
