About me
• 13th year teaching – 2nd at LCHS
• Undergrad degree in electrical engineering from the
University of Dayton
• Masters in Education from Marymount University in
Arlington
• Married with 2 daughters, ages 18 and 15
• Live in Winchester, VA
• 3 years as a process engineer at a steel company
• 20 years in Navy
– Served on submarines, at Naval Nuclear Power School as a
Chemistry, Materials, and Radiological Fundamentals
instructor, at US Strategic Command in Omaha, NE, and at
the Pentagon
– retired as Lieutenant Commander
in May 2002
