course is designed for WGU students who scored less than 65% on

or have completed an elementary algebra course in college to be
enrolled.
The course is taught in an asynchronous on-line environment using
resources in MathXL, an online supplement to the required textbook.
Here you will find homework assignments, quizzes and tests.

Welcome to an Abromitis Online Learning Education Course. This course has
been designed to assist WGU students in the completion of their RUA1 and
RUA2 assessments. These competency assessments are designed to help
you demonstrate your best performance in problem solving skills.
You will choose an open-ended problem to address and will complete tasks
that you will submit to your instructor for feedback. You will also work with
your instructor and a small group of students online to discuss common
tasks, challenges, and solutions. You will submit your tasks to TaskStream for
grading by WGU at certain points during the class. Ultimately, you will write
a 5-6 page reflective essay and a 10-12 page critical essay. These essays will
also be submitted to TaskStream for final grading at WGU.
The course is taught in an asynchronous online environment. This
environment consists of downloading Word documents, posting questions
and comments to a class Discussion Board, submitting assignments via
email, and talking with your instructor by telephone when deemed
necessary by either the instructor or the student.
