Originally inspired in Cambridge Part III Seminar
Series. (40 talks in 3 days. 200 attendants).
Stream-based presentations
20-30 minutes talk/presentation + 10 minutes
question time.
Opportunity for PhD students to practise their
presentation skills

time outside from lectures
Learn easily what takes longer to learn from a
dry book (or at least an insight)
Share knowledge with people who probably
have similar problems (2nd/3rd years probably
know about it already).

Lectures for 2/4 days on each of the subjects
Training on how to do a MATHEMATICAL
presentation available
1 stream coordinator (volunteer now! Good for
CV!)
Each speaker sends an abstract to the
coordinator and he merges, comments and
spreads the world
(Hopefully) participation certificates available
