• Total testing time: 2 hours (40 minutes per section)
• Three multiple-choice sections:
• Reading Skills:
Reading passages and sentence completions

• Writing Skills:
Identifying errors and improving grammar and usage
40 minutes; 50 questions
• Math Skills:
Questions on arithmetic operations, algebra, geometry, statistics
and probability
40 minutes; 36 questions
—20 minutes (18 questions) with calculator
—20 minutes (18 questions) without calculator

• Requires the ISEE (Independent School
Entrance Exam)
• If you are taking the ISEE register today! The
ISEE are required for all applicants to
independent high schools. If you are taking
the BJE ReadiStep exam for another school,
Heschel will honor the results so you do not
need to take the ISEE in addition.
