The Texas A&M System Mid-Career Grant
Program Highlights:
• Participants receive up to $5,000 to become a
certified STEM teacher.
– $2,500 tuition reimbursement for participants
– Up to $2,500 for intern fees (must have secured employment
in high-needs school district)

• Funded 45 participants statewide in 2010-2011.
– 45 Tuition Reimbursement Awards
– 28 Intern Fee Awards
• 5 candidates were hired after the Intern Fee Award deadline.
• 22 of the 33 hired are participating in the BTIM
grant.
