that experience comes from play.

guidance for a positive development in all
areas of domains (physical, cognition,
language, as well as social & emotional).
• The success of one child depends upon
parents involvement in their education.
We believe parent-partnership program is
essential.

PHILOSOPHY OF DISCIPLINE
• Discipline ≠ punishment or harsh action.
• Make rules& expectations clear and
understandable
• Set good examples
• Demonstrate positive, appropriate behavior.
• Focus on what child may do.
• Consistent, firm &developmentally appropriate.
• Discipline ≠ regard to rest, toilet training, food.
TIME OUT / TIME AWAY
• Length of time: one minute of time out per
each year. E.g.: 3 years old =3 minutes
time out.
• Start: when the child quiets down.
• Help each child develop and maintain
acceptable behavior.
COMMUNICATION
• By phone, letters/ memos, free choice and
communication time and observation
book.
• Observation book will be given every
Friday.
• Comments, questions, ideas, and
suggestion.
• Return the following Monday unless no
report for those missing days.
PARENT PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM
• Participation in school’s program:
1. Classroom volunteer
2. Teacher-volunteer on specific subject
3. Library volunteer
4. PTO

• Coordinate the flow of communication with

BOOK REPORT
• Three times a year for each term.
• Only parents need to attend the Book
Report Day.
• Teacher – Parent communication on
child’s progress.
