ARRIVAL
Doors Open at 7:15 am
Tardy Bell Rings at 7:45 am
If Tardy, Must Come to the Front Office
Car Riders – Dropped off at the side of the building
Walking Students to Class – First 3 Days of School
Congested Parking Lot – Be Aware
Breakfast Served 7:15-7:45 am
DISMISSAL
End of School Day – 2:35pm
First priority is to load bus riders
Primary Side (K-2) & Intermediate Side (3rd-5th)
Have orange car tags at all times
Stay in car while in dismissal line
Only park in designated parking spaces
TRANSPORTATION & SAFETY
Color-coded tags on backpack; must be left on backpacks at all times
and backpacks must always be taken to school.
Transportation Changes must be in writing, no verbal phone permission
will be accepted. Note should include student name, date, bus # and
bus stop if riding the bus, date of change, and parent signature.
If the change involves more than one student, a note from each parent
is needed.
ATTENDANCE
If your child will be absent, please call office to report absence or
tardy.
Note should be sent within 3 days of absence (10 parent notes are
accepted per school year).
Doctor appointments should be accompanied by a doctor’s note (these
are unlimited in number).
If a students arrives late or leaves early, this is considered a tardy.
KINDERGARTEN KICKOFF
Opportunity for school staff to meet children
Teachers are able to form a general idea of where to begin
instruction
Will work one-on-one with staff to identify letters, letter sounds,
rhyming, identify numbers, patterns, one – to – one correspondence,
Screen for Speech or English as a Second Language services if
necessary
KINDERGARTEN KICKOFF
NOT a test
Don’t stress yourself or your child about it
If you haven’t signed up for a time yet, please do so before you leave
tonight.
You may leave any paperwork (eye exams, immunizations, physical,
dental exam, etc.) that day as well.
