Team Highs & Lows
 “It's been a good experience working together with people of
relatively the same experience on your team. We all contribute
in a different way and have different skills. You draw from the
creative perspective of each team member. We lay hold of
theory and the abstract and attempt to bring into being
something near to what has been described (by the client).“
 “On the low side, we're still discovering our limitations. We don't
have year's of experience to draw from (yet). We plan our
assignments with the understanding it will take a certain amount
of time. Sometimes it takes a little longer than we've anticipated.
Thinking that we can work it out if we just hammer it through, we
might not say anything to the rest of the team. Time
management, and better communication would help a great
deal. It’s better to make your mistakes in school, than on the
job.“
The Most important thing team
learned about project analysis
“A critical component to success comes from
maintaining good communication with the
client. It is also important to have all of the
materials on time. Anything we can do to
facilitate the client to provide information helps
you. The use of forms might help to expedite
the process along, in addition to scheduling
deadlines for client involvement.”
The Most Important Thing Learned
About Team Building
“Important team attributes are: be flexible,
responsible, and patient. Make decisions and
then "let go". Letting each team member know
where they're at is also important. In a work
environment you have the benefit of proximity to
help facilitate communication. It takes a
conscious effort to keep everyone on the same
page.“
