Power Tools Advanced FileNet P8 property capabilities
• Superior re-use of properties by allowing display name
aliasing at the class level, per class for every class.
Reduces number of required custom properties needed by
extending existing properties, optimizes database indexes
and conserves database space (table widths).
Example: Document Title is a shared property for
document class HR and document class Engineering. HR
can be aliased to HR Document Type and Engineering to
Drawing Number.
• Standard letter casing: Choose from proper, upper, lower
or as entered text casing
• Shared properties can have their own Power Tool choice
list at a per class level.
• Aliasing of property display name at the class + property
association level (very granular)
• Display formatting in future release (Currency $,
negative integers -)
