Common application being jointly developed for
processing OECD and UNSD Trade data.
OECD to process member country data
UNSD to process all other data
Data to be exchanged between the organisations to
complete each organisations database content.

Phasing out of current Oracle Software at OECD

Application components – developed in partnership
SQL-based data model designed by UNSD and synchronised at both
sites.
Data processing procedures: being developed at OECD and parallel
tested at UNSD
Database browser client: designed and developed by UNSD – tested
and adapted by OECD.
Data exchange via XML (SDMX): schema designed by UNSD,
exchange mechanism being developed by OECD

Extend XML Database Exchange mechanism to other
International Organisations (FAO, UNCTAD etc)
