Interpretation of data:
In 10-minute conversations between a
person with severe aphasia and a partner
trained in the provision of sincere,
consecutive conversational questions and
potential answers in the form of written
choices or scales:
# of turns per topic during NO WRITTEN CHOICES was
approximately 2-3
Fast turnover, short discussions, little content
exchanged
# of turns per topic during WRITTEN CHOICES ranged
from 5 to 11
Little to no topic turnover, longer discussions, lots of
