“Appreciation Corner” with immediate
effect.

Purpose of Appreciation Corner
• With a view to institutionalize the
“Appreciation” as a “Culture’ in CKPL, this
exercise is being initiated.
Who can be appreciated
• All Employees
• A boss can appreciate his subordinate
• An employee can appreciate his colleague
in the same department or in any other
department
• A sub ordinate can appreciate his boss
What is to be appreciated
• Based on the actual occurrence, which has
created a positive impact on the
“performance” for an individual, or
department, and/or to the organization, an
“Appreciation” can be given.
How to Record the appreciation
• Log on to My.Cavinkare.com – home page - You
will notice Appreciation Corner
• Now, click “Appreciate Cavinkareans and do the
following :
• Select Department
• Select Employee name
• You will get a screen for typing the Reason for
appreciation and Actual appreciation.
• After typing, press submit, automatically a mail
will go to the employee, his superior and the
Reviewer.
General points for consumption
• Like “Birthdays this month”, we can also see the Dept wise list of
employees who got appreciation during the current month.
• If you click the name of the person, you will see the entire appreciation
details with photo of the individual.
• Further HR would send a weekly mail to all cavinkareans – on Fridayon the list / details of the appreciation received. If we send – all the
appreciation communication – instantaneously – to all - on a daily
basis, the traffic/space required would be high. Hence, it is suggested
to consolidate all the messages on a weekly basis and send to all
concerned.
• The reason for appreciation and the actual appreciation communication
should not go beyond 2-3 lines.
• Employees can articulate their own words of appreciation. However,
ensure that it does not exceed the space provided in the template

• Exchange of “greeting mails” “thanks
mails” to be avoided for the appreciation
received and/or sent through “Outlook
express” for obvious reasons.
