The First Americans
The First People to be in the area of the United
States was Native Americans. They arrived by boat
from Asia and crossed the Pacific ocean.
European Exploration
Reasons for the European to come to United
Stated and find a sea route to the spices of Asia.
Also gold, silver, precious stone, expand
knowledge of the world, control large empire,
expand Christianity, and animal fur. Leif Eriksson
and Christopher Columbus were some of the
explorers.
European Impact
The disease brought by the Europeans injured the Native
Americans, over trapping of animals' weakened the food
supply and animals with fur were becoming endangered.
Soon, the good of the Native American people began to
become less, while the value of their lands increased to the
European, who began forcing the natives off their land.
Colonization
European countries established major colonies in the area of
the United States is French, Britain, and ect. The first
English colony was Virginia at Jamestown in 1607.
French & Indian war
Native American, Canada, France, and Great Britain was in
the French and Indian war. There was many reason why the
war started but one was Both European countries ignored
native Americans claims to the land. They used the land to
support their beaver pelt economies.
The path of independence
Three reasons for colonists wanting their Independence :

Colonists were tired and angry the way British treated
them.

Colonists was being taxed with acts such as sugar act,
stamp act, and the Townsend acts.

The colonists had no freedom and their natural rights
Founding Father
George Washington and Thomas Jefferson was the
founding father in declaring and/or gaining
independence.
The American Revolution
One advantage the British Army had over the
Colonists was weapons because British had up
to date weapons. One advantage Colonists had
over the British was they knew the area. This
occur in the year 1775.
