• Visualisation tools
– The CNM tool has been extended with a zoom
functionality
– PerfsonarUI v0.08 is available
– Several weathermaps to display delay information have
been produced for discussion
– JRA4 CBF has developed a visualisation tool presenting
the E2E L2 circuit status using a perfSONAR interface.
– The BWCTL web tool has been made available to the
NREN NOCs community via login/password.

• Services
– First production release of perfSONAR including the Java RRD MA
and the Java LS (single domain).
– Revision of the RRD and RDB MAs. They now include results
codes.
– Revision of the Lookup Service including result codes.
– MA and an MP are providing L2 status information to the JRA4 E2E
visualisation tool and have been deployed on GÉANT2.
– A common L3 topology database schema has been established
between JRA1 and SA3.
– RRD MA service migration from previous version to the perfSONAR
release 1 have encountered difficulties. The feedback will be taken
into consideration when improving the installation scripts.

• Metric Composition Framework
– Additional measurement and analyses on delay
concatenation have been conducted. The results seem
to indicate that we can really neglect any sophisticated
composition procedure for OWD on trunks that are
loaded at even 25%, and just sum the means.
– A proposal for a dashboard has been provided. The
dashboard aims at providing an at a glance view on
parameters (data aggregation).
