The bald eagle is our national
bird and a symbol of the United
States of America.
Presidents George
Washington, Thomas
Jefferson, Theodore
Roosevelt, and
Abraham Lincoln are
carved into Mount
Rushmore. It is
located in the state
of South Dakota.
The colors on the flag represent different
characteristics:
Red – bravery or courage
Blue – freedom
White - loyalty
This is the President’s house.
It’s located in Washington D.C.
The Statue of Liberty was a gift
from France. She stands in New
York Harbor. She is a symbol of
freedom.
He is a symbol of the best ideals of the United
States. From the earliest days until today, he has stood
for Freedom, Equality, and Justice.
The rose was designated the official flower and floral emblem
of the United States of America in 1986. The rose has been
around for about 35 million years and grows naturally
throughout North America. More often than any other flower,
we hold the rose dear as the symbol of life and love and
devotion, of beauty and eternity.
