July 2, 1863 Campsite Col. Chamberlain and a few of his soldiers resting and caring for the wounded. They wash their wounds in plum run (bloody run) Creek. However, they are still watching for the enemy. July 3, 1863 Pickett’s charge the confederate surged toward cemetary ridge. The Union held their position at the top and fired down on the confederates, killing all of Pickett’s regiment.
