Vibe is a music and entertainment magazine founded by producer
Quincy Jones. Quincy Jones launched Vibe in 1993.
 The publication predominantly features pop, rock, R&B and hip
hop artists, actors and other entertainers.
 Miller Publishing bought Vibe in 1996. Then Wicks Group of
Companies bought the magazine in 2006.
 As of 2007, Vibe had a circulation of approximately 800,000.
Advertisers ran the gamut from record labels to Fashion houses to
various cognac brands.


Language-The Good thing about Vibe magazine from my
perspective is how they know there audience. They speak in a hip
hop, pop culture so it relates to people who are interested, they
also have a high level of English for those who don’t.

Photography- Vibe magazine is popular mainly because of
there repetition of there front cover image. They use a variety of
angles like the image with game close, they select popular artist
and place them in the font in order to grab attention, they also use
a lot of sex to sell the magazine and build its intrest.

Vibe Magazines focuses on all the popular genres and give readers a flavour of
