• What rules your life?

– Choose righteousness
• Present yourself
• Who is your Master?
• Live under Grace
– Power to refuse comes from God

• Grace is not permission to sin
Admitting your sin
• We don’t want to admit it is sin
• Confess
– Admitting to God
– Admitting to yourself
• Can Be Cleansed
– Forgiveness is available
– Christ forgives we must too
• Beware that we fail to admit to sin

Want other on our side
Dividing children/family
Slave to sin when we divide
Deceitful, smooth talker
Admitting your sin
• Do you hear and get angry?
• We don’t want to be confronted, not my
fault.
• Humble person receives the Word of
God

Beware!
• What looks good can turn bitter
• Lack of preparation and being alert can
cause us to fall
• God does provide paths away, choose
wisely
• Flee (run really fast) idolatry
• Be on guard!
Let’s Consider
• Small amounts of rust can grow till
everything crumbles
• Small amounts of sin in our
life/marriage can grow till it destroys us
• Present yourself to God, choose
righteousness
• Living under grace is not permission to
sin & be forgiven
Let’s Consider
• Do let yourself be fooled when sin is
concern, stay on the alert
• Do not be mad at those who care about
you
• What may seem sweet can turn sour
• Satan has a goal for your life; choose
God goal for your life and marriage
