NFES Talent Show!
Auditions: March 30th & 31st, 2015
Rehearsals: April 28th & 29th, 2015
Full Dress Rehearsal: May 1st, 2015
Show: May 15th, 2015
Eligibility:
· The show is open to North Frederick students in grades K-5.
· You may perform as a soloist or in groups of up to five students.
Students who are part of a group act must submit Participation Forms
together in one envelope.
· Students may perform in only one act.
· All students must return a completed and signed Talent Show Participation
Form by 3/17/2014 (see reverse). No exceptions!
· Students must attend auditions and rehearsals in order to perform.
Planning your act:
·
Please remember your audience – keep it rated G! Lyrics, costumes and
performances should be compliant with school policy and appropriate for all.
Music and performances will be screened.
· All acts will be limited to 3 minutes or less. Please plan accordingly. No exceptions!
· All equipment for the student’s act must be provided by the student.
· If your act requires recorded accompanying music, please:
~Provide a CD to the Talent Show Committee at the time of the auditions. Your CD
will be returned after the show.
~Label the CD with student name(s), song name, and artist/composer.
· If you have a scheduling conflict with your audition or rehearsal time, or any
questions, please e-mail [email protected].
· All students must sign in with a Talent Show committee member upon arrival at
auditions and rehearsals, and a parent/guardian must sign the student out when leaving.
Parents must send a note to the child’s teacher each time their child is scheduled to stay
after school for auditions\rehearsals. If your child does not have a note, the teacher will
have to send your child home in the usual way.
· Most of all – be creative and show off your talent! Unique acts are always
welcome!!
**All students who audition will have the opportunity to perform in the talent show, provided
they follow the rules listed above. Auditions are held as an opportunity for the students to
practice their act in front of an audience, and to ensure acts are in compliance with the talent
show guidelines.**

Parents: By signing below I give consent for my child to participate in the 2015 North Frederick Talent
Show and agree to follow all Talent Show rules. This will require my child to stay after school for
auditions/rehearsals. I am responsible for transportation from the school after all auditions/rehearsals
and will sign my child out with a volunteer from the Talent Show. Parents must send a note to the
child’s teacher each time their child is scheduled to stay after school for auditions and
rehearsals. If your child does not have a note, the teacher will have to send your child home
in the usual manner.
