To start Unit 2- Introduction to the values and
principles of Adult Social Care.

Guest speaker – Nicki Rawlins – Intake Team

To understand the role of the Intake Team in Medway
Council.


To start to explore the key values and principles of
Adult Social Care and promoting those values and
principles.
To explore own values and beliefs and conflict that
may arise.

the values and principles of adult social care.
Your booklet should contain different sections,
which could be used as fact sheets for staff and
should:

principles may conflict with those of
adult social care, giving two specific examples



