PSYCHOLOGICAL LEVEL – developing empathy
for self and others, a positive self image, self
respect and a healthy respect of others
EDUCATIONAL LEVEL – information concerning
otherness and mechanisms that create and
perpetuate prejudice, discrimination and
oppression
CONCRETE ACTION LEVEL – empowering
individuals and groups to take responsible
action
STRUCTURE OF THE PROGRAM
• Two 3 day training modules that are
scaffolded and interconnected
– Module One – Building Critical
Consciousness
– Module Two – From Reflection to Action
• One 3 day training of trainers module
PROCESS OF THE TRAINING
Combines theories and activities with
personal experiences intended to
stimulate intellectual and emotional
responses, leading to a commitment
to action
