Chromosome – replicated chromatin, X shaped
Chromatid – one half of a chromosome
Centromere – protein in the middle of the
chromosome
Spindle Fibers – mesh like structure that forms as
cell is pulled apart, attached to centromeres and
asters
Centrioles – structure in animal cell, helps it divide
Asters – star shaped centriole, pulled to poles
Cleavage furrow – pinch that divides animal cells
Cell Plate – structure that divides plant cells

