Conventional Microinjector
Inject by oil pressure or gas pressure
If the capillary with less than 0.5 μm tip is used, the capillary
itself will be moved forward due to the pressure.
With complicated flow path
Unable to use fine tips under 0.5 μm for injection
Unable to inject into the cell having rigid cell wall such as plant cells
Complicated flow path brings on a time-consuming preparation
LTM-1000 : Structure
LTM-1000
Heart-induced expansion of liquid in a sealed capillary
generates high pressure.
Feature
Extremely-high pressure (approx. 1MPa per 1℃)
makes it possible to use capillaries with the tip
around 0.1-0.5μm without clogging.
Simple flow path allows to start experiments
right away saving a lot of labor.
