• The Indian children went to school to
learn the Catholic religion and the Spanish
language to know how to do it.

• There was one fire and two earth quakes
• The church was rebuilt one time
Changes Over Time
• The church is still looks the same after the
fire and the earth quakes. The church had
to be rebuilt.

• The people at the mission ate wheat,
barley, corn, beans, and peas mostly.
• The church took a long time to rebuild
after the damage at the mission.
