more in males than females.
yellow-blue blind

about 4 inches apart.
Cover your left eye and stare at the
left mark.
Move the paper toward your face
until the other mark disappears.
It’s in your blind spot!
Audition (Hearing)
Pitch - how high or low a sound is.
Intensity - how loud a sound is (decibels)
Parts of the Ear

nerve.
Cutaneous reception
1. Physical changes
2. Temperature changes
3. Continuously Active/Pain - responds to
injury or poison
Olfaction (Smell)
Cilia report detected molecules to the
olfactory bulb.
Animals use Pheromones to communicate
by smell.
Taste
Taste buds on tongue report to brain
taste buds made of papillae
Four types of taste receptors: sweet, sour,
bitter, and salt.
