convince someone of something
Propaganda is a way of manipulating
people.

 Propaganda clouds reality and gets in the
way of clear and honest thinking.
 Blind acceptance of Propaganda is the
objective of those perpetuating it.

author wants to explain and then support
• 2. support – the use of facts, figures, statistics
and examples to support the assertion
• 3. assertion – a claim, statement or declaration
• 4. opposition – a different side of the issue
