• Long term forest resources data 1950-1990 (LTFRdb)
(note: TBFRA 2000 is also available under LTFRAdb at EFI)

• Forest products and trade flow data 1962-2001(2002)
• Forest Research Capacities in Europe (18 countries)
• optional: Database on Forest Disturbances in Europe

Generally speaking : yes
Time series:
EFIS VTK did not fully satisfy in particular with
regards to time series; Recent version of
CommonGIS has many advanced features in
particular in working with time series

Further features that should be included?




Metadata display as ‘pop-up’ window should be always
available when working with datasets
Print options?
Polygon map building (in particular related to time series data)
Options for loading different data sets into the
EFIS/CommonGis (e.g. socio economic data and forest resources
or trade data from two individual data sources for use in one
application)


Edit function for attribute names
System allows to calculate new values and display or use
them for further processing; function for extracting all values
to other programme (e.g. excel)?
