FPS PROBLEMS:Vandaquim

• Poor Economy
Due to the low education of the workers, they are not skilled enough to
carry out tasks efficiently, so the country would not have products to
sell. Those that have the knowledge and skill to do this migrate to
other countries. The country would not generate enough revenue and
cannot progress and further train its people, plunging the country into a
vicious and almost unbreakable poverty cycle. The poorer workers get
poorer, as they have no money to send their children for education nor
migrate, and the rich get richer, migrating and earning money from
other countries, then retire here a millionaire, sending their children for
better education elsewhere and coming back here to earn money and
retire as well.
• Bad Communications between citizens
Due to poor education, people do not know how to
use their common language, so people in different
dialect groups will not interact with one another as
they do not understand each other. They become
hostile towards each other and may find the
practices and cultures of other dialect group
unlawful, resulting in racial riots and racism
between the people. People also feel less loyal to
their country as they do not want to protect or
even care about people from other races or dialect
groups in the country, making the country
vulnerable for other countries to attack.
• Low population
There will be a lower population as those that have
enough money to migrate will do so as they fear
for their lives (refer point 5) and want to go to a
safer place to live in. They will also want to earn
money in other countries as the economy here is
unstable(refer to point1). Also, many people will
die from illnesses(in the case of contagious
diseases like SARS, H1N1, Black Death) as there
are no people here educated enough to become
doctors to help cure the patients.(refer to point 4)
As a country’s most important thing is its citizens,
Vandaquim will fall sooner or later if this
continues.
• Health problems of the public
Without good education, the people of Vandaquim
will not have enough knowledge or skill to
become efficient doctors. Most educated people
like doctors have already migrated in search of a
better life. Therefore when a deadly disease
spreads, there would be no efficient doctors in
Vandaquim to cure the people. People may lose
their ability to work, to do regular everyday things
or even die. Death and people losing their working
abilities may result in a smaller workforce of
Vandaquim, generating less revenue for the
country (refer to point 1). The people of
Vandaquim will eventually die out in the case of a
disease and Vandaquim will no longer exist.
• Poor and violent attitudes
At a young age, children are not taught moral
values and they do not know what is right and
wrong as parents are busy looking for jobs and the
teachers simply do not care or focus on teaching
them. Also, they are not punished properly when
they done something wrong. This gives them the
mindset that it is okay to do the wrong thing as
you can benefit and you will not get punished. So,
the citizens of Vandaquim will steal, rob,
vandalize, murder and continue doing it as they do
not know what is right from wrong and making
the citizens aggressive and violent. This will also
affect the economy as tourists will think this is a
dangerous place to visit and foreign investors will
withdraw their investments when they see this
rebellious attitudes.
• Total chaos in near future
People are unhappy with their government and blame them for
ensnaring them into an unbreakable poverty cycle (caused by poor
education which causes economical problems point 1). This
displeasure with the government creates propaganda among the people
and new rebellious leaders will unite with people of their own racial or
dialect groups to create protests, boycotts and riots. These new
rebellious leaders will soon create total war in an attempt to overthrow
the government. People of Vandaquim under different rebel leaders
will no trust each other as they each want their leader to take charge of
the country(they will probably get special rights) and members of the
government to try to find excuses to push each other of their post and
take over them. There will be massacres between rioters and the
government, and if this happens, the people will focus on rioting rather
than working. They will snatch resources from their fellow citizens and
Vandaquim will turn into a rebellious, warring zone(like Iraq)
