Invasive Cervical Resorption
(ICR) has unidentified etiology
Usually first recognized radiographically
as it is hard to detect with a casual clinical examination
Possible causes of ICR

orthodontic movement of involved teeth
internal bleaching
occlusal trauma
Treatment of IRC involves
complete debridement of the area
After curettage and debridement with TCA the resulting defect
caused by IRC is repaired using a glass ionomer cement restoration
