He became a Pharaoh at 9
He reigned from about 1337 BC to 1328 BC
His tomb which was discovered in 1922, nearly 3000
years after his death
His tomb is why he is so famous today
Over 3000 treasures were found in his tomb
He died when he was about 18

The family were some of the most famous people in Ancient
Egyptian History
The Father of Tutankhamun was Akhenaten, first known as
Amenhotep
The Mother of Tutankhamun was believed to be a
noblewoman called Kiya
His Stepmother was Nefertiti, the chief wife of Akhenaten
The wife and consort of Tutankhamun was Ankhesenpaaten
(aka Ankhesanamum and Ankhesenamen), who was also his
half sister
Children: None survived. His two daughters were still born
and were buried with Tutankhamun

Wife
King Tut married a women named Ankhesenamun
She was his half sister
They had the same father but different mothers
There is evidence that King Tut and Ankhesenamun
had two daughters – each stillborn
