Intelligent P&ID’s
Benefits versus conventional CAD Drafting
Captures,
Organizes and Updates Data as projects progresses.
One common Database for the entire project or facility.
Single Data entry with multiple use outputs.
Ability to associate Engineering Data and Documents to graphics.
Standard AutoCAD and MicroStation files.

View of Data From Database Software
Project Databases can be many different formats;
FoxPro, Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL or Oracle.
This Project was run using Microsoft Access.
Pump Data From Database View
All data is accessible from P&ID Drawings or directly
from the database concurrently. All changes are
reflected throughout all documents.
View of Data In Report Format
All reports are easily custom tailored to your
companies requirements.

Elimination
of Field Interference.
Elimination
of costly Physical Models.
Design
and Construction Drawings and Bills of Materials.
Standard
AutoCAD and MicroStation files.
Start of the Design
Using conventional 2D files for backgrounds for the model.
Adding Equipment
3D Objects are drawn to actual dimensions.
Equipment in the Model
Once 3D Objects are created they are placed and
positioned in the model.
Adding Structures and Platforms
After generally arranging all the equipment, Structures,
Platforms and Stairs are added to finalize the arrangement.
Adding Piping and Components
Piping is selected from specifications and are drawn as 3D
Objects. They are connected to Equipment Nozzles.
Adding Piping and Components
Piping components are placed in line to build the system.
Adding Piping and Components
Piping is completed by attaching to the nozzle of
interconnecting equipment.
QuickTime™ and a
decompressor
are needed to see this picture.
(The AVI File will start and stop Automatically)
Completing the System of Piping
The model is now ready for design review with client and
interference checking.
