dramatic club for William Smith
College, which was organized to
foster and encourage interest in
the drama and to provide
training for students in the
dramatic arts.

•The Medbery Mummers was the dramatic club
at Hobart College to provide talented students
with experience and training in the theatre.
They practiced in the auditorium in Coxe Hall.

• Since the Mummers and Masquers joined together, the dramatic association
has increased in size, allowing the groups to produce larger plays.

The Theatre program incorporates opportunities for live performance with a
variation of courses in theatrical production, performance, theory, history and
literature.

Student and faculty directed productions are presented in Bartlett Theatre on the
HWS campus.

1. In 1934, the Little Theatre used to Perform in the Bartlett Theatre in Coxe
Hall.
