Actors:

person who portrays a role on stage
Either
male or female; acting is a profession
and, like female doctors are called doctors,
not doctresses, all should be identified as
actors, regardless of gender

playwright is a person who writes all the
words a character says in a play

characters say or may also include
descriptions of the set and/or stage directions
