EVALUATING AN EXPERIENCE
Describing and giving opinion of an event.
A dialogue
Robert: How was the weekend? Did you do something interesting?
Tara: Yes, we went to the theatre with my best friend. We had a trip to Prague
and we went to the National Theatre there.
Robert: Interesting. What was it like?
Tara: It was brilliant! I love drama, and this play was just excelent!
Robert: Really? And what did you like best about it?
Tara: Everything. The action was wonderful and the actors were awesome!
Robert: It sounds great.
Tara: And the male lead was the best of all. He was such a brilliant actor. You
should come with us next time we go. I ´m sure you´d like it.
Robert: I´d love to.

Practice
 Work in pairs. Prepare a similar dialogue to
the sample one evaluating a cultural event
that you´ve seen recently and was either very
good or very bad.
 Act out your dialogue to the class.
