Mystery Night – Patrol Challenge Evening 26th Aug
•
Your Patrol’s challenge next week is to prepare and shoot a 3 - 5 minute
video movie. Patrols will need to write a script, make costumes, back drops
and shoot the movie.
•
Patrols meet at someone's place (typically the PL or APLs home), not at the
Scout hall next week (26th August)
•
A “Mystery” theme has been set for the movie and the words “Scouts” and
“12th Caulfield” must be used at least once during the movie.
•
Patrols will use patrol time this week to confirm whose house they will use,
who will provide a video camera, what their "movie" will be about, what
costumes/props they might need, who will bring what, etc.
•
Scouts who actively contribute, (PL to assess) will earn the Entertainer
badge tasks B and C.
•
On the 9th September we will bring in a computer and screen and set the
hall up like a theatre. Scouts will make popcorn, introduce their movie, their
stars, explain what it is about etc. Then we will screen it. Leaders will give
out "Oscar Awards" at the end of the night for best actor, screenplay,
costumes, music etc
