Different Words
• When you are writing it is often useful to have a supply
of different words to make your work more sophisticated!
• For example you might ‘drink your juice’ or ‘sip or even
slurp your juice’. Using different words helps to build up
a picture of the event
• Write down as many words as you can that could be
used instead of the word ‘walk’ to explain that someone
is travelling on foot – one mark for every word you can
write down and spell correctly
