Bellringer!
 Write two to three (2-3) words and/or
phrases that describe the feelings that
come to mind when you think of the
following words:
1. Mother

Beneath the bellringer, number your paper

 Now, check your responses (your connotations) with the
denotative meaning of each term:
1. Villain: a cruelly malicious person who is involved in or
devoted to wickedness or crime.

suffering.
3. Arrogant: a sense of superiority, self-importance, or
entitlement
