The Crucifix
The Christian symbol is a cross, it represents the
Christian Religion because it represents when Jesus
was resurrected after he had died to take the sins
from the world.
The Cross
Christians believe in one
God. He is all powerful, all
knowing and loving.
The crucifix is also a common Christian symbol and is
used to represent Jesus’ suffering when he died to save
his people from sin.
Hinduism
AUM
The Hindu symbol is called the ‘Aum’. ‘Aum’ is the
noise used during meditation but is also considered
sacred because at the beginning of the world it was
the noise that Brahman used to create the
universe.
Brahman is the supreme God in Hinduism, but there are
also many other gods that Hindu's worship such as
Ganesh and Shiva.
Islam
The star and crescent is the best-known
symbol used to represent Islam.
Muslims use the crescent moon and the star
because it was used to help guide travellers
through the dark- like their religion does.

The moon is important to Muslims because as the
first sighting of the new moon marks the beginning
of each new month. The new moon also marks the
beginning and ending of Ramadan, the period of
fasting.
"Allah" in
Arabic
Muslims believe in one supreme god called Allah.
In the Islamic religion Allah has over 99 names!!
