What is an insect?


Introduction

You work for the Preschool Television Station.
You get to help write a television show. The
TV station wants to make a show about
insects. You need to learn about one of the
insects and write about that insect for the
show. Then you will put on a show about your
insect.
Task

The TV station needs you to find 4 things
about your insect to make this a great TV
show. You will have to do the following:

Find a picture of your insect
Describe and make a model of where your insect
lives. That is called its habitat.
Find what your insect likes to eat
Tell some interesting things about your insect

After you have found all your information, you
will be the Science Guy and make a TV show
about your insect.
We will show the TV show at a special party
given for our class, your parents and family
members

children age 3-5. An adult should be present at
all times to assist the student.
The students will work in teams of 6 students.

teacher.
