BA in Studio Art
(75 credits)
Art Department
College of Arts, Letters, and Education
Why study Art?
Pursuing art as a major gives students the chance
to develop the highest levels of artistic
performance, pursue professional education, and
build a cultural understanding and aesthetic
appreciation of visual art.
EWU Gallery of Art
Exhibitions of student, faculty, and visiting artist
work are rotated quarterly in the Gallery of Art. A
unique, central space in the Art Building, the
gallery offers students first-hand experience with
the methods of successful visual art display.
The gallery program also sponsors public art
lectures, visiting artists’ workshops, and
cooperative exhibitions with Northwest museums.
