Multidisciplinary Endorsement
▪ A student may earn a multidisciplinary studies endorsement by completing
foundation and general endorsement requirements plus:
– Four advanced courses preparing a student for success in workforce or
college from within one endorsement area or among endorsement areas
that are not in a coherent sequence.
– Four credits in each of the four foundation subject areas to include English
IV, chemistry and/or physics.
– Four credits in AP or dual credit selected from English, mathematics,
science, social studies, economics, languages other than English or fine
arts.
This is what a
personal
graduation
plan looks like
under the
endorsement
plan.
Note the
“experience”
electives!
What if I am not happy with my
graduation plan?
▪ It can be changed at the end of your freshman year,
during registration. 4 credits are needed to earn an
endorsement. Changing an experience after the start of
your sophomore year will not give you enough time to
earn an endorsement!
Registration
▪ Registration is coming to the middle school in the next couple of
weeks!
▪ It’s time to start thinking about courses for next school year !
▪ Don’t know what to take? Check out the endorsement areas at the
tables in the gym and cafeteria
