WHAT IS A GPA?
• GPA means Grade Point Average
• It is a calculation of the grades you have received
• You will have a GPA per semester
• You will also have a CUMULATIVE GPA
• This is the calculation that combines all the semester long GPA’s
you have received

• 4.0 (All A’s)
• UNLESS you take AP/IB classes

REGISTRATION PACKET
• You will receive a registration packet to choose your classes.
• This will be due by:
• Current 9th and 10th graders: The week of February 20th
• Current 11th graders: Due in your junior meeting by March 3rd
• You will also enter your course requests from your hard copy into your StudentVue.
• The registration packet will include your course requests, StudentVue directions, and
ICAP directions.

• Counselors will meet with you individually to collect your course request
forms during the week of February 20th. Incomplete forms will not be
accepted so be prepared. Requests need to be entered into StudentVUE
before you meet with your counselor.
• Current 11th graders
• Counselors will collect your course request forms during your Junior
Meeting. You are responsible for scheduling this meeting prior to march
3rd. Please sign up for 30 minutes to meet with your counselor.
