Physical Education credit requirement
1 credit in Physical Education is required to
graduate from high school
 There are several ways to get this:

Physical Education classes
 Athletics
 Fall semester of Marching Band, Drill Team or
Cheerleading
 11th and 12th grade Career and Technical Education
classes that involve a lab with “lots of activity”sometimes it’s like having a job during the school
day- Culinary Arts at the Gaylord Texan Resort

That was all your required classes
for high school.

The rest of the credits in your plan are for
elective classes and should be tied to
your Career Cluster.

It is a good idea to spend some time in
the Program of Studies looking at
electives.
