ACADEMIC INTERVENTION
If you are failing two or more classes you will
be put in Academic Intervention. This is a
REQUIRED “Study Hall” during Extended
Lunch to study and do your homework. There
are AI tutors and teachers to help you if needed!
You are in Academic Intervention until you
have a B (80 or above) average
If you skip Academic Intervention you WILL
get SATURDAY SCHOOL!
End of
th
9
grade year
• You have earned a total of 5.5 units for
your 9th grade year.
• You must make up 2nd semester of MA 1
over summer school or online to catch up.
• If you don’t stay on track with your math
classes, you might not graduate in 4 years.
Do they have “Credit Recovery”
in high school?
NO!
• If you fail a class for the
semester, you have to
make up that class
outside the school day.
• The cost of 1 semester
class is expensive!
Where do my grades go?
• For every class you take in high school, your grade will be
recorded on your transcript.
• A transcript is a “report card” for your high school career.
• Classes that you take in summer school, online, or from a
different school, are also recorded on your transcript.
• Transcripts are used for acceptance to college, technical
schools, scholarships, military, and employers.
• ALL SEMESTER GRADES STAY WITH YOU
FOREVER!!!
